- What I Wore
It's still winter, but it was a little warmer outside than the past few days - and it was sunny so most of the snow was melting away. I celebrated by wearing short sleeves and taking my daily outfit pic outside!
This is what I wore to teach yesterday - I found this Old Navy dress at Goodwill over the weekend for $7.49. It's a little too big, but I knew I could wear it with a belt to work and it would be alright. Thanks all you style bloggers that I’m addicted to reading for the little tips like that.
Details: Dress: thrifted; Blouse: JCPenny; Belt: Macy's (from another outfit); Tights: Wal-mart; Boots: DSW.
Wal-mart has the BEST TIGHTS of any store I have bought from. I buy the "George" brand tights, and they fit my long legs and thick thighs with no problems - and they are super strong. From Goodwill over the weekend, I also scored 2 skirts ($4.99 each - I really needed a black skirt) and a long beige-ish coat ($14.99). I really need to branch out from the 1 thrift store I always go to though
Unfortunately, although it was gorgeous outside yesterday, it's now snowing again.
