Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and It’s All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson. This is my all time favorite book and I recommend it to everyone. It completely changed the way I look at life. It helped me through a tough time because it allowed me to realize that my perspective was off. After reading this book, my disposition changed. Life seemed better all of a sudden even though everything was exactly the same.

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff and It's All Small StuffMiracle in the Andes

From Alyce @ At Home With Books

Miracle in the Andes by Nando Parrado is the first-hand account of one of the survivors of a plane crash in the Andes (upon which the movie Alive! was based). It is more than a riveting tale of true-life adventure: it is a revealing look at life at the edge of death and a meditation on the limitless redemptive power of love {review}.
