Listen Up! It's Audiobook Week 2012 is an event hosted by Devourer of Books, from June 25-29, 2012. It was an amazing week of audiobookishness that resulted in me bookmarking a gazillion new audiobooks, narrators to listen to and tips for writing insightful audiobook discussions.
Audiobook Week 2012 {Wrapping It Up}
This is how my audiobookish week went down.

- MONDAY: Weekly Reading With Cinder & Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter {The Audiobook Week Edition}
Cinder isn't a book I would normally have read - but I'm so glad I did because it was fantastic.
- TUESDAY: 10 Audiobooks {on My 2012 Reading List}
The one I most look forward to reading is ... well - all of them!
- WEDNESDAY: {Bloggers Recommend} Favorite Audiobooks From Various Genres
I'm particularly loving the zombie book recommendations.
- THURSDAY: Kiwi, Mango and Pineapple Fruit Salad {Eating} Before I Fall {Audiobook Listening}
Fruit & books are a perfect combination.
- FRIDAY: Audiobooking & The 3 Best Reads of 2012 (So Far) Plus a June Audiobook Library Loot {2}
Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor, narrated by Katherine Hvam - is my favorite audiobooks (and books) of the year so far (6 months in).
So listen, if you haven't tried listening to audiobooks yet - don't wait another minute! Check out SYNC FREE (Audiobook) Downloads - different books FREE every week, from June 14 - Aug. 22, 2012 (Daughter of Smoke & Bone - which I mentioned is one of my FAVORITE books read this year (audio and print) is free during the week of Aug 2 - 8).
And a HUGE thank you to Devourer of Books - because this audiobookish event ROCKED HARD - and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year. I learned is to be SURE to include information on the narration when discussing audiobooks - I now even have a template with some ideas that I don't want to forget to include. I also got a lot of recommendations for awesome audiobooks - too bad I already read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, narrated by Wil Wheaton, which I loved, and seemed to be the most popular recommendation. Have you added any new audiobooks to your reading list as a result of Audiobook Week?

I agree, I LOVED audiobook week and I learned so much!! I feel like a whole new world has opened up and I am so excited :)
