Authors Who Rock

You definitely need to read Fire and The Scorpio Races! Both are favorites of mine :)

I keep meaning to read The Chaos Walking trilogy too...I really need to get on that.

Also, now I'm hitting myself for leaving Stephen King off my list. Sigh.

I'm SO excited for Bitterblue! I really hope you love Fire. I liked it even more than Graceling!

You know, I've owned Forever for months, but still haven't read it. Me = FAIL.

I was surprised by how much I liked Before I Fall. I though the main conceit—one day retold seven times—would get old fast, but Oliver does such a good job of capturing her teen character's voice that I was truly engrossed.

I hope you love Fire. It was the first book I read in 2011, and I later re-read it. That's how wonderful it is.

Great list! I'm planning to read Kindred and GRR Martin this year. I've heard really good thing about Lauren Oliver and Beth Revis. I read Gracelign a while ago,, but am not sure I wanna read any more of Kristin Cashore's work because I don't agree with her portrayal of the characters or her take on feminism.
