
Food is a big part of my life - I studied it, I teach it and, of course, I eat it (sometimes way too much of it). So consider this a weekly share of a salad (or soup or ... something healthy) that I'm loving at the moment - plus the book that currently has me hostage.
Green Smoothie With Apple Banana and Spinach {Drinking} and Fifty Shades of Grey {Audiobook Listening}
Consuming: My typical green smoothie made with a handful of spinach, 1 apple, 1 banana (previously frozen without the skin), water (amount depends on how thick you want the smoothie) & a splash of lemon juice. Delish!!! Recipe - add all the ingredients to a blender (cutting the frozen banana and apple into chunks first), and ... blend.

Current Audiobook: Fifty Shades of Grey, E.L. James (Narrated by Becca Battoe). Yes - I've succumbed to the hype - won't be the first or the last time. So far, for me, hmmm ... it started out promising, but I'm becoming a bit bored & getting what people say about the repetitive phrases & 1-dimensional characters.
Thinking: Not sure what I'll listen to next but it'll be something written in 2012 - maybe Why We Broke Up, Daniel Handler (Narrator: Khristine Hvam).
