Spinach and Pepperoni Omelet

Food is a big part of my life - I studied it, teach it and, of course, eat it (sometimes way too much of it). So consider this a weekly share of a salad (or soup or ... something healthy) that I'm loving at the moment - plus the book that currently has me hostage.

Spinach and Pepperoni Omelet {Eating} A Storm of Swords {Reading}

Consuming: Breakfast this week has been very eggy - meaning, scrambled, hard-boiled, and lots of omelets. This morning, I whipped up one with spinach, diced tomatoes and a few slices of pepperoni added just for kicks. Keeping the heat medium-low and the egg layer thin is my secret for not having it burnt on the outside and under-done on the inside.

Reading: A Storm of Swords, George R.R. Martin ... I've reached THAT part y'all! If you've read the book - you know what I mean ... "that shit is crazy yo!" And if you haven't read this yet - START NOW! Don't be intimidated by the 900+ pages.

Thinking: Q. Feature a favorite book review you've written in the past that you feel deserves more love! (From GReads (TGIF))
Tough question - but I would say all my Audiobook Reviews - because both the book & the narrators impact are discussed. And Audiobook Week 2012 {Wrapping It Up} has been my favorite blog event so far.

I am so intimidated by the mass page count with Game of Thrones. I'm a slow reader so this would take me forever. LOL! I think I might do the audiobook. But everyone loves it so much that I might give in to the pressure.

Oh, THAT part. I was on a train when I read it, and had to get up and go lock myself into the bathroom for a few minutes just to finish reading it in privacy.
