Do you participate in reading challenges?! only signed up for 3 reading challenges in 2011, and finished them off from in October. In 2012, I'm pushing it to 7 challenges, 2 of which I'm hosting.
2011 Reading Challenges {Finished List}
No. of books read for the challenge: 10 (Level 2)
No. of books used for other challenges: 0
Favorites

The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins, Vampire Academy, Richelle Mead, Graceling, Kristin Cashore and Poison Study, Maria V. Snyder
Least Favorite: Clockwork Angel, Cassandra Clare * yes, shocker* - I read this right after reading The Mortal Instruments series also written by her (City of Bones, City of Glass & City of Ashes) - so Clockwork Angel felt like more of the same although it was a different series - maybe I was burned out.

No. of books read for the challenge: 6
No. of books used for other challenges: 1
Favorites: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larson and City of Glass, Cassandra Clare.

Least Favorite: Wide Sargasso Sea, Jean Rhys. The writing is strong with vivid descriptions of the characters and the Caribbean islands, but the book seemed disjointed, too long and too boring.

Favorites: Across the Universe, Beth Revis, The Marriage Bureau for Rich People, Farahad Zama and The Glass Castle, Jeanette Walls.

I swear, that girl on the cover of Vampire Academy looks just like Angelina Jolie!
I signed up for a ton of challenges this year and failed all except one. I think I'm going to go waaaay slow on challenges this year, but I do find I do better with short ones.
I loved Across the Universe, one of my favorites! I can't wait for book 2.
