To read books set in each of the countries that won a GOLD MEDAL in the 2012 Olympics, or written by authors from these countries - all prior to the start of the next Olympics scheduled for August 4, 2016.

This is a neat idea! I see too that you did/are doing this for the Winter Olympics, too. Plus, 4 years is a nice length of time ... although I'd probably procrastinate and try to fit them all in a month before.

This is a great idea. I would love to branch out and read books by authors who aren't American or British, but it's hard to know where to start.

Tanya, this is such a great idea—and a real challenge! I wonder if it's doable with only YA fiction vs. YA + literary fiction. Hmm. Either way, I'm excited! Thanks for setting this up. :)
