  1. Super late in posting this as I am catching up with updates for my reading challenges but I read Aru Shah and the End of the Time by Roshani Chokshi in May for Believathon. I loved it and thought it was so much fun. Aru as a character, definitely has a special place in my heart. I love her wittiness and how feisty she is. I am really excited to read the second book. This is the first book I have read by this author and I know that I have a few more on my bookshelf so looking forward to reading more from her.

    • Oooh! I’ve had my eye on Aru. Glad to hear you loved it.

I thought I had already posted a comment here last month but I don’t see one, so guess not.

I read A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Blackman in May. Nice enough, nothing stellar. Here’s my instareview https://www.instagram.com/p/CBTKNflHc3_/?igshid=pjuivnpph20j

I’m immersed in WWII literature currently, so I acquired this classic by an author new to me: Citizen 13660, Mine Okubo https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3314693814
It was a fascinating graphic memoir of her time in Taforan & Topaz.

I read “The little book cafè” by Georgia Hill. A mushy romance book 😀

  7. I read The Dreadful Lemon Sky by John D. MacDonald. I’m not usually a semi-hardboiled investigator kind of girl, but I’ve enjoyed the (now) two Travis McGee books I’ve read.
