Kalina
Will you be updating this calendar for 2023? It is so helpful!

@Kalina a new one is out!

Hi! I was looking ahead and noticed that the Audie Awards (List of dates: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audie_Awards) are presented either right at the end of May or or right at the beginning of June, likely due to weekend scheduling. Can we count it for either month if we like, or does it depend on the book chosen, what year it was awarded, and thus what month the award was received? Or are winners announced earlier in May and the dinner & show are just the song & dance? đŸ˜‰
An additional thought: Are the RITAs persona non grata for this challenge due to their very…. serious diversity issues, mishandling, and general elitism? I mean, I suppose every Award has its skeletons so that would be silly. Hm.
Anywho, thanks bunches!
P.S. I do find the ‘calendar’ s touch confusing as it lists when nominations are made, long and short lists compiled, and official nominees announced, and it can be confusing seeing which awards are actually *presented* in said month. Is there a way to make it a bit easier for us rather than having to pour through semi-information on the Award websites themselves? It doesn’t seem like much an issue but my chronic hand pain could use every break it can get, AND you seem the more knowledgeable about the Awards cycles. Any assistance would be absolutely wonderful!

@Juulna Award winners are in bold on the calendar. I’ll think of something to make them more obvious. RITA winners are OK. Audie awards or any other award will depend on the exact date. So if the award in 2022 was in June, then you would use it for that months challenge. But if in 2020 it was in May, you would use that book for May’s challenge.
