So many yummy treats this time of year! I love it all. Here are a few of my favorite holiday inspired treats lately…
Trader Joe’s wassail is my favorite holiday drink this year. This stuff is yummy and you can mix it up into a fantastic cocktail or even with ginger ale and it’s fabulous.
Every year a local Mexican restaurant that we love comes out with a holiday menu. I always, always go in to get the Chiles en Nogada. It’s roasted poblano peppers stuffed with pork and covered in a creamy walnut sauce with pomegranates. So good!
It’s just not Christmas without Danish Klejner cookies and Pizelle-Italian cookies. When I was growing up we had some Swedish neighbors who brought these treats over every Christmas and I sooo looked forward to them.
Annual traditions with my family include a pass the white elephant game, goodie basket exchange, making homemade ornaments, and lots of really good food.
Is food a big part of your holiday traditions? What other traditions do you have?
